Before you connect
- Your account type needs the MCP search permission and at least one of Calls, All Calls, or Tickets. An administrator sets this in Members → Permissions. Admin accounts always have it.
- Ticket results need the Tickets permission specifically. A member without it can still connect and search, but only gets call results.
- Ticket results only include boards where your PSA integration has Ticket Indexing turned on. An organization that has never turned it on gets call results only.
- You must be able to sign in to Vight with Microsoft or Google.
Connect
- Open My account → Connected AI tools in Vight.
- Copy the connector URL.
- In ChatGPT, Claude, or another remote-MCP client, add a custom connector and paste the URL.
- Choose Connect or Authorize, then sign in with Microsoft or Google.
- If prompted, choose the Vight organization you want to connect.
- Review the requested access and choose Approve.
What the connector shares
For calls, the connector can return summaries, participant names and internal/external roles, linked ticket numbers, completed AI results, and bounded transcript pages. It does not return recordings or participant phone-number fields.
For tickets, it can return the header, description, summary, notes, time entries, and resolutions.
Returned call and ticket data is processed by the AI provider you select under that provider's terms. Vight checks your member status, permissions, and call and ticket access on every request.
Revoke or troubleshoot
- Revoke your own connection from My account.
- Administrators can revoke any connection from Settings → Security.
- Removing the MCP search permission from an account type blocks its members' connections on their next request.
- If access is denied, confirm your permissions and organization IP allow list, then remove and reconnect the tool.
- If a ticket is missing, check that you have the Tickets permission and that the ticket's board has Ticket Indexing turned on.
